!Growing Up!
*A baby girl beautiful, healthy, and new!
With rosy cheeks, brown hair, and eyes so blue.
*Born October 31, my mothers 1st bundle of joy.
A new life, new world, new things to enjoy.
*From bottles to cups,from toys to books.
No more crib, no more crying, no more baby nooks.
*A nice new room, pink curtains and sheets.
A canopy bed with pretty little pleats.
*From days spent home to school I went.
That first year over and spent.
*Years went by and I grew fast.
Elementary school now in the past.
*Now a teenager and growing fast.
Its time to make the good things last.
*8th grade year coming to and end.
This is now lifes second bend.
*Boyfriends and troubles all normal stuff.
A teens life is always rough.
*I get through it though thanx to you!
Now I graduated Middle School too!
*Highschool's here,I'm a beautiful young adult now.
Not a baby, but grown to a young woman some how.
*It's hard to believe I'm that same little girl with pig tails and bows!
Maturing, growing, developing, learning, what comes next who knows.
*Working now, beginning to fly on my own.
My destination in the end, still unknown.
*My grades are great and my achievements show pride.
With some knowledge now, in my dreams I confide.
*From freshman year with new things and new space.
Two years later more settled in and content in this place.
*Senior year is racing closer, it's almost here.
This is all moms' biggest fear.
*I'm a senior now, scary but true!
I've made it this far thanx to you!
*Prom night now is on its way.
Adulthood's coming and is here to stay.
*Prom night over, senior year veering to its end.
This is my childhood's final bend.
*Graduation night! I walk to the stage, happy yet sad.
I'm loosing my childhood and it hurts so bad.
*Took my diploma, shooks hands, rushed off stage, and back to my seat.
Only to realize my life's just begun, happy see that I jump to my feet.
*I cry tears of both sadness and joy today.
I'll miss old times, but new things will come my way.
*I'm still mommy's little girl and I'll always be mommy's little girl forever!
I'm growing up and exploring life in the real world but I won't leave mom or my childhood behind! Never!

From then till now, I'm still your little girl, just a little more grown up and a little more like you each day! You made me who I am today! Thank You! I love you for that and for that I will make you proud! After I wrote this poem and added it to this sight I realized something.... I'm not loosing nothing I'm only gaining more! There is one other thing that bothers me, I know once I graduate things are gonna be different with me and my friends! We wont all be in the same college, sum of us may not even be here in Jersey during college! I want all my freinds to know that no matter where I go after high school and forever, I wont ever forget any of them! I love you all! I'm gonna miss it all...I'm gonna miss you all...
